High Point Village is finally beginning to be discovered by journalists, and the media in general.
We are always surprised how low long it takes to be recognized when you are the "new" kid on the block, but we have been quite successful in exploring the patience is a virtue aspect of stress free living in the interim.

Ogema’s High Point Village is delivering laughs along with a meal in the latest installment of its dinner theatre productions, successful beyond the cast’s wildest dreams, through the months ahead.

Senate candidate to meet and greet
There will be a “meet and greet” event held for candidate Donna Seidel at the “Hill O’ Beans” at Timm’s Hill in Ogema. Seidel is running against Pam Galloway in a recall election for the 29th State Senate seat. The site is located on High Point Village Road, W3075 Cty RR, Ogema.
The event is set for Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seidel will be making remarks at around 2:15 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend and visitors are expected from Taylor, Rusk, Sawyer, Marathon and Price Counties.

Hill of Beans Coffee Shop Opens in Ogema
Hill of Beans Coffee Shop, opened recently at High Point Village, provides “what we were missing at our resort,” according to Kathy Blomberg. Earlier this year, she and her husband Lyle decided to add the shop to their resort complex located at W3075 County Road RR, about six miles from Ogema and nine miles from Prentice.

Timm's Hill Trudge Awards Ceremony
On March 3, 2007, High Point Village sponsored the "Timm's Hill Trudge," a snowshoe race through a course set up in the Timmi's Hill-Basllo Lake area. The race started at the High Point Village Resort at 10 AM and prizes, food and medals were awarded thereafter.

Wisconsin Central: the People, the Land, the Culture
High Point Village Resort is a Minocqua resort located at the edge of Bass Lake which is part of an extensive state and county woodland recreational system. It includes Timm's Hill, the picturesque highest point in Wisconsin. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the natural beauty of the Wisconsin northwoods.

North Star Ski Touring Club
North Stars have been enjoying the warmth and hospitality of High Point Village at Timm's Hill, highest point in Wisconsin, for the past nine years. This was the first year the trip was held on the three-day President's Day weekend. This allowed for ample opportunity to explore the area's excellent trails.

Timms Hill stands tall in Price County
One thing is certain when you visit Timms Hill: you know you are in a beautiful place. Woods cover the hill with a wonderful blend of deciduous and pine trees. Sugar maple, ash, basswood and birch are plentiful, and make fall a great time to visit the hill.

High Point Village hosts Timm's Hill Trudge
Lyle and Kathy Blomberg were silent sports advocates even before they built their beautiful High Point Village. Over the years, Blombergs have been volunteer caretakers of the Timm's Hill area's numerous trails, events, and roads. These include the hiking trails that are kept cleared, the High Point ski trails, and the Prentice high cross country trails. This year, for the eighth time, the High Point Village Resort hosted the Timm's Hill Trudge. It is a snowshoe race out at Wisconsin's highest point.
